Nobu - January 2016

I am so happy writing this entry. SO HAPPY! The smells and tastes of the evening are still with me...
Kim P was up next and wow, she picked a menu and knocked it out of the park!
Nobu was the cookbook, and I'll be surprised if we all don't own a copy of it soon. Everything was amazing.

Highlights of the evening: shucking oysters, rolling sushi and making ice-cream.

Drink(s)
- Sake Mojito; Grapefruit/Lemongrass/Ginger Sake Cocktail
Menu
- Nobu's Oysters with 3 Sauces

Williams Sonoma - Pasta Night - October 2015

The next adventure we actually got to kick-back and let someone do the cooking for us!
Shelley purchased a group cooking lesson from Williams Sonoma at a silent auction and we put it to good use.
Multiple (did I mention multiple?) requests were denied to allow us to bring wine to the session, so we decided instead to end the evening with a trip to Crave next door. A good compromise :-)

Drink: None during cooking session, wine at Crave after
Menu: Pot Stickers, Gnocchi Gratin, Butternut Squash Ravioli

Happy Kitchen Bitches!!

The Kitchen Bitches have a Blog!

Last April, 4 girlfriends got together, had some appetizers, mapped out a plan to meet quarterly, have a lot of fun and make some damn good food.

The rules were simple:
- get out of our comfort zone and try new recipes and techniques we haven't used before
- if the food we made was terrible, we could always order pizza!

We are those women and these are our kitchen adventures!

Appetizers from our first meeting included ceviche, bruschetta, vegetable curry rolls and pork belly boa buns.
